This is quite a scholarly endeavor with a lot of detail if you wish or the shortened yet complete version if you're in a rush. As a Professor teaching this course, I found some hidden pearls that were passed on to my students.I recommend it highly.

This is an excellent textbook for physiology. Makes you think. Instead of memorizing you get to put your knowledge to use. Answers give you reasons. Great addition to any physiology class.
