About the Author
Rhonda Huettenmueller has taught mathematics at the college level for more than 14 years. Popular with students for her ability to make higher math understandable and even enjoyable, she incorporates many of her teaching techniques in her books. Rhonda is the author of the enormously successful Algebra Demystified, College Algebra Demystified, and the upcoming Pre-Calculus Demystified. She received her Ph.D. in mathematics from the University of North Texas.

Very helpful.

I got this to help me through a very badly-instructed Internet business calculus course for college requirement. My course was basically a shortened version of this book. I doubt that I would have gotten such a good grade without this book. It is not perfect and there were still some spots that I got stuck on for a bit..but overall this was a very helpful book. Between this book and some youtube tutorials I probably fishy need to take the course to learn business calculus.

I was taking Calculus for Business and Economics as part of my Information Systems degree. The textbook for the class was pretty terrible, so I purchased a few different books from Amazon to present the content in different ways to help me understand. I ended up with an A in the class, so I'm sure this book helped.

A Nice Find

I was taking business calculus and had a difficult time grasping it. I also had a difficult time and getting someone to help me with it because it is a business based calculus, the tutors who new calculus did not quite understand the business applications of it. This book pretty much went in the same order as my text book did but explained it much better. Definately would recomend to those who must take business calculus.
